In recent months, i have started thinking alot about the softfood i was feeding.But now i have steped this up,since i started up breeding budgerigars again i have been useing a softfood called orlux dry soft food but recently i have had a problem obtaining it.So i have decieded to change it, now i am using biovit.

my birds devour this product,my soft food remains mostly the same,although some times they get something abit speicial . I mix 1 to 2 cups of biovit to tjis i add carrots, broccoli,sweetcorn, and apple,celery, then i blend all this down in the blender.To this i add cous cous at the rate of 1 cup then i mix this all together and add 1 desert spoon of extra virgin olive oil wich keeps the soft food moist for a long time. I occationaly add a sprinkling of garlic powder to keep the mites at bay. In the evening they get naked oats which have been soaked for twenty four hours and rinced thourghly , my bird devour this in no time and also the babys are always waiting for this.I also feed chick crumbs occationaly . Al my birds are given versa-laga grit which they love.
